In and around Fethiye
Fethiye is a natural harbour town located in the South-West of Turkey and is steeped in history dating back to the 5th Century BC. Once the site of the ancient city of Telmessos, the remains of the Lycian rock tombs, fort and small Roman amphitheatre overlook this now modern town.
Surrounded by crystal clear turquoise waters and a dramatic mountainous backdrop, Fethiye offers something for everyone. Cafes and restaurants line the promenade offering a wide range of local and international cuisine and there is a great variety of shops and boutiques in the narrow streets of the bazaar area, Paspatur, as well as the town itself.
Life here continues all year round, and many British nationals and Europeans have chosen to make this relaxed area their home.
